Willsboro Cabin – A Smaller Rental on Lake Champlain
Sleeps Five. Extra Cot Available.
If you are looking for something a bit smaller and more rustic, and perhaps in a different area of the Adirondacks, we suggest you look into a family cabin on the shores of Lake Champlain. This provides a nice base from which you can explore the Champlain Basin, hike the mountains and trails in the Eastern Adirondacks, and have easy access to the ferry in Essex for day trips to Burlington or other parts of Vermont.
It is in a nice, quiet old community on Willsboro Point, where there are scores of old family cabins dating back to the early 1930′s or so.
The cabin is owned and operated by another family member, so you should visit the Adirondack by Owner Page for the property and make inquiries there.
It is not directly on the water, but has a shared beach and lake access area with a great vista across Lake Champlain, and is a less expensive option if you have a smaller group or are looking for a change of pace from the mountains and lakes of the Tri-Lakes area. There are marinas and a State Boat Launch nearby, so you have easy access to the fishing, boating and other possibilities offered by the Lake.
